Puzzle Description:

Not a fluffle, but close...

Is that a calculator? Is that what you call a herd of nerds?

Lol at the description and Brian! I would have to guess that this is a calculator or some other electronic device. I know of no such animal group called by some electronic device, so I'm looking for another meaning in it. Do the colors of the buttons have anything to do with it? Another way to look at it is the clue in the description. I'm thinking either the word fluffle is similar to the word indicated by the picture, or the picture depicts a collective noun for an animal similar to rabbits. Nothing specific is coming to me, though. Perhaps my ramblings may spark the answer in someone else's mind.

To me it looks like a cell phone with a screen of apps displayed. I've heard of groups of people believing in a common cause referred to as cells.

Oh, my - Amazon would fire the whole kit and caboodle of you! (There, that should do it)

A kindle of kittens! (Thank you, Wikipedia) which also taught me that "venery" is the term for collective nouns of animals!

Bill got it!
Might have been easier if I'd stuck with the older, black and white version.

I want to say a Calculation of Lizards, since I've heard that lizards think about calculus all the time. (Turns out, it's a Lounge of Lizards)

I get it now. I would love to cuddle a kindle of kittens.
#9: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Feb 26, 2018
I thought a bunch of kittens was a caboodle as in "the whole kitten caboodle"

That makes perfect sense, Brian.

.... except that the phrase is : the whole kit and caboodle, meaning all there is, everything

Christine, you must not have heard the smirk in typing.

Yes, it is difficult to 'hear' the tone of voice :)
