Seb, forgive me if this is not what you mean by you don't understand. Wombat is explaining in shorthand, which many users already understand, that to complete the solve, he used Internal Edge Logic on Column 9 and 17. Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

after Line Logic and color logic solves all of the blue and most of the red,

Edge Logic left 3 r1 = c5 White

ll solves left side of canton

el right 3 r1 = c21 w

ll to finish.
