I second that. I can't imagine it would be anything else. Clear image for a small size.
#3: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 31, 2018
Right again, Kelly. Thanks, Aurelian.

Kristen's got me going through my entire repertoire of vocabulary, and I'm pretty sure mollusk is right up there with orange, silver, and purple: no rhyme. Maybe there's a reason.
#8: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 31, 2018
My work here is done. :)

(You could make an argument for doll-esque, but that's a stretch)
#9: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jan 31, 2018
I almost want to rhyme it with dalek, but it just won't work. I'll just exterminate that idea.
#10: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 31, 2018
:)

Husband: Nothing rhymes with orange.
Wife: No it doesn't!
#12: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 31, 2018
Took me a second, there, Brian. LOL
#13: Alan Lafond (Cural) on Jan 31, 2018
Dusk
Musk
Busk
Husk
Tusk
#14: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jan 31, 2018
Oh, sure, when you only go with one-syllable words! :)

These are great, Brian. You're on a roll!
#22: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 5, 2018
I'll ask
Moll Lusk,
the mollusc.
#23: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 5, 2018
And what words of wisdom did good old Moll have to share?
#24: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 5, 2018
"whose husk
of a tusk
clucks
in the dusk?"
#25: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Feb 6, 2018
...

You've made your point. :P I'm going back into my little shell.

But clucks does not rhyme. The s would have to come before the ck. I do appreciate the alliteration, however. I applaud your poetic humor.
#26: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 6, 2018
I could not come up with a verb that "usks". So I did a slant rhyme - one that's close enough to slide by in a song (which are full of them, though probably not about molluscs).
#27: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 6, 2018
:)
#28: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Feb 7, 2018
Thanks for the easy clever puzzle.
#29: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 7, 2018
You are welcome, Ga.
#30: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 21, 2018
gastropod, mail fraud

Lots of fun, both the puzzle and the silly guesses.
#31: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Feb 21, 2018
Thank you, Teresa. It is fun when the guess start rolling in like this.
#32: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jan 15, 2019
Perhaps this snail is sending out invitations to come watch as it plays music out on the street. It is a "busk mollusc".
#33: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 15, 2019
Once again learning something on webpbn. Had not heard the term busk, but it does look like a busk mollusc.
#34: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Feb 5, 2021
If it's a cease and desist letter, it's a slimy stymie.
#35: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Jul 21, 2021
Ooh, VERY good one, Yonah.

I was thinking, for those into custom decorations, it would be a slug rug.
#36: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jul 23, 2021
Funny, Andrew.
