Tough solve. I saw it early on, but still had to pick at it one at a time.#6: besmirched tea (Besmirched Tea) on Jul 29, 2018 [SPOILER]

Apparently the creators pronounce it "LEE-go" but I always had heard it pronounced in the USA as "LAY-go" but what do we know.
Nothing hurts quite like stepping on a Lego brick in the dark...
One very smart guy is creating slippers made of Lego, so if you step on a stray brick your foot doesn't get hurt - you just get a little taller.
I've always heard it pronounced "LEG-o" by Americans. The European pronunciation is similarly with a short e, but the European short e is about halfway between our e and our ee.#8: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 1, 2018
Ahh, the old Egg vs Egg. My husband teases me for pronouncing them like AYG (or EIG, for you pre-vowel-shift folks), but what can I say? I grew up in Texas and Alabama.#9: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jun 24, 2021
Great illustration. Tough puzzle. Fun solve even though I did guess a couple of times.#10: Vaggelis Kamaris (evag7651) on Oct 5, 2021

On a somewhat related note, every time I see an ad for LEGO City, I want to pronounce it like Velocity.
