That has to be the explanation, Brian. :) It does make a bit of sense, Kristen. Like Brian, we too, had a cat that we had to check to see if there were any dogs around before letting her out. I can remember one time my son was entering the house and the cat slipped out. I heard a women say, "Don't worry. My dog won't hurt your cat." My son responded, "That's not what I'm worried about, lady." Then I heard yelp, yelp, yelp. My son apologized profusely, then corralled the cat and brought her back into the house.
