Mishy, mushy peas...a friend of mine used to always say that whenever she saw peas, and then she'd laugh. I can hear her right now, just as clearly as if she were sitting beside me. Funny the things that stick with a person. She succumbed to cancer a month ago. She put up a valiant fight and lasted a year longer than they gave her initially.
