Why the rude comment? If you're going to attempt to show somebody up, maybe you should create a puzzle with a unique solution. Just saying.

I must say that sanane did manage to correctly capture snow's crappy mustache that has bugged me for years now, but kristen's had a single, solvable solution, and was a pretty dang good image in its own right, so each has its charm.

I didn't see the comment as rude, considering that it was on topic. HOWEVER, later on, when this puz shows up in the random daily group, that context will be lost and it will indeed seem at that point rude.

I was not offended. I think it's a suitable continuation of the theme, although the multiple solutions are disappointing. ;)

This is one of those times when, if you can't hear the tone of voice, any number of interpretations can come to mind. It would have helped if sanane had expressed it a bit differently, because my first impression was that it was rude.

Three places with two solutions each = 8 solutions. Given that it's a face, I guessed right the first time.
