There must be a techie out there who can get us the missing colors. Jan started this awhile ago. Aren't there any new breakthroughs that can now do this?#3: Wombat (wombatilim) on Oct 23, 2017 [HINT]

There are different shades of yellow.#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 23, 2017
It's a much bigger deal to add a color than people might think. I'm happy with using my imagination. White can be yellow. Red can be orange, and blue can be purple.#6: Vicki Woods (vickicwoods) on Oct 23, 2017
I'm just so grateful for the whole system that Jan put together from scratch. Rest in peace, Jan, and thank you.
Yes, I'm grateful, too. I didn't know him, but I feel very sad that he died.#7: sanane samanye (maceraseven) on Oct 24, 2017
It is not a big deal to add a new color. It is a matter of simple coding.#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 24, 2017
Actually, it's way more than that. Jan explained it before.#9: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Oct 25, 2017
There are certain times when yellow would come in handy but, without it, it forces additional creativity. I think I'll go eat a banana.#10: Kim (kjh) on Oct 29, 2017
I don't mind not having yellow, and it seems the solvers who have been on this site for many years don't mind either. I think a bad deed is a puzzle creator who immediately rates the quality of their puzzles a 5.
