I'm sure that there was meant to be some obfuscated hidden meaning in my message that /I/ thought would be funny at the time, but it's certainly not coming to me now. I am happy to report that no coffee-related mishaps have actually happened in my past.
I bet I was imagining one turning their head right next to a coffee mug as pictured and described in Brian's title, thus knocking the mug down resulting in such a mishap. I must have just been too "in my head" to make sense of that thought in a comment here.
