Yes, a "wall wart"

New term for my vocabulary. However, I am not anticipating working it into a conversation any time soon.

Brian, please know that I do not mean this in a negative way. It just has to be said. You are a strange man. :)

There are quite a few weirdos in this community. <3

In what way? I think if you met me at a party, you might say to yourself "He's a fairly ordinary guy". 59, happily married, two kids in college, high school and college physics teacher, cyclist, astronomer, loves puzzles and bad dad jokes.

You have a very interesting way of looking at things. You see a plug and call it a wart in the wall. I mean nothing bad by it. It is simply different from the norm (normality is overrated). Your puzzles add an interesting flavor to this site. I could liken it to cilantro. You add an unexplainable tang to any dish.

Thank you. I didn't make up the term though.

I'd have to guess that most of us are introverts, so we have a much richer inner monologue (which spills out in a site like this), moreso than our public personae.

I call them wall warts too. They were the bane of my existence for getting all of my electronics to fit nicely on a power strip until I discovered 4-inch-long extension cords. Those have made my life so much better.

I had not heard that term before. Really fun logic on this one.

Well said, Kristen. Thanks for the odd puzzles, Brian!
