Puzzle Description:

One time I was helping someone move and there were no hammers or any tools, really, in the apartment because she didn't own any. She wanted to hang up a picture, but had no way to drive in the nail. We used a shoe heel to bang it in. It actually didn't work that well.

Excellent shoe, now that I've read the description! Until then, it looked like a funky book/chrysalis. :)

I was seeing the beginnings of a fancy costume which turned into a very well done shoe. (The kind that don't make great hammers.)

Thx for answering my challenge Aurelian. Yes I've found that shoes and slippers make for poor hammering devices. Did she have a meat hammer available? :)

A hard soled shoe would work better than a gym shoe. But if it was a high heel you'd have to aim well.

Fun color logic, Aurelian. I didn't see the image until the very end, after looking at it every which way, then it popped.

I'm still trying to think of something for a puzzle, Aldege. At my age, I know there have to be lots of times I've had to be creative to fix something, but I've forgotten. I'll remember something, soon I hope.

Aldege, lol. I think if we had had ANYTHING harder than a sneaker, we would have used it. Belita, I think we did have some high heels, but our aim was terrible. As far as getting an accurate whack, we were better off with the bigger, albeit, softer heel. (It almost damaged the wall. Since she was renting the place, it wasn't an option.)

Excellent shoe. Until it was finished, I thought it looked like a clothes iron on its side, lol.

lol #7. A clothes iron would have made a perfect hammer!

Fun puzzle to solve. I didn't see the shoe until after your description but then said of course it's a shoe and looks just like mine.

I'm still convinced that it's a seahorse blowing through a bubble-blower, despite all the evidence above. I tried too long to see it, and I'm sticking to it.

And we welcome your delusion, Andrew! ^_^

It's a very fun little seahorse, then. Whimsical and colorful.
