Fantastic. Thank you.#5: Liz P (lizteach) on Jun 26, 2017
Great image, and I loved that last little tricky bit of logic.#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jun 26, 2017
Oh wow! Wicked tricky solve, but such a great image. So satisfying.#7: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 27, 2017
Some may call her Queenie. :)#8: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jun 27, 2017 [HINT] [SPOILER]
It took a lot of careful counting, but I knew the result would be worth all the bother. I love her expression!

Great puzzle Joe and love the title#10: Jane Butcher (jane-o) on Jul 8, 2017
Really great picture. It could even be a logo - if you were infrapinkbee.#11: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 14, 2017
Thanks, everyone.#12: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jan 16, 2018
Aurelian, if you'd been around longer, you'd know that my puzzle is one of the worst places to promote guessing. My purpose in solving puzzles is to never change a single mark I make to a puzzle. Pattern recognition is a great ability of the human mind, but it also makes us see babies and turtles in clouds. It makes a flicker in the corner of our eye into a ghost.
Logic is also a great ability of the human mind. This is what lets me finish puzzles without any changes. That is my goal, not just getting to the picture, but thinking my way through every step so that I KNOW that it is the correct move.
So far as we know, symmetry logic probably holds if ALL the clues are symmetrical and there is only one solution. In that case, using symmetry is considered "cheating" only because there is no actual proof that it is true, just empirical evidence. (Also it's boring.)
In this case, however, there is no symmetry logic, just picture "logic". And that is exactly where our brains like to make men or rabbits in the moon.
Honestly, I haven't looked at this puzzle in a while, But I had already changed my viewpoint about symmetry since completing it. I have also improved greatly at my pure logic skills in the meantime. So, Joe, I completely agree with you, and I like your points about seeing shapes in clouds and faces and rabbits in the moon. And also, I agree with you that symmetry solving is boring. ;p#13: Lauren B (Lblair) on Nov 14, 2018
Very nice picture, and enjoyable, if very tricky, solve!!#14: derby (Derby) on Jan 8, 2019

It's always nice to hear I've helped someone figure out a new thing#19: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Aug 10, 2024 #20: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Aug 15, 2024
That's interesting, to read the way you approach puzzle making (not to have to change a single pixel).#21: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Aug 16, 2024
For me, the drawing comes first, and then I try to solve it, and it's a balancing act between "make it LLS" and staying true to the artistic vision.
"Not changing a single pixel" is my goal when solving. When creating, there are almost always changes that get made.#22: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 17, 2024
Oh, okay. That's a more attainable goal X-D
Also, reading comprehension fail!
