#12: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
Well, otherwise you would be some sort of flotation device. But, that's not a nice thing to say to a lady, and I hope you laughed and didn't get mad. :-)

Terrific story - and great image too!

My 2 mL worth (instead of 2 cents worth) ... teachers need to have this quality too.

And yes, I taught chemistry ... and physics.
#14: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 27, 2008
Whoa, Naneki!
#15: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 27, 2008

#16: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 27, 2008
LOL Adam, thats why I said what I did...

thank you Ga & your right it's probably needed more with a teacher..

It was especially helpful supervising labs. Gypso - I taught mostly AP classes in high school and some college classes. Also summer programs for teachers to increase their science credits.
#18: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 30, 2008
WOW..I never took chemistry in high school, though looking back I wish I had.
#19: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 30, 2008
I bet that you have some fascinating stories about those labs Ga!
What a wonderful age group to teach. It must have been very rewarding to instill your knowledge and then watch it walk out into the world. :-)

Yes - and in fact having the basic sciences (including physics) has opened many doors for students. I loved teaching both chemistry and physics. Very hands-on. I developed lessons for younger, elementary students (even kindergartners - about sink and float, for instance) too.
