A lovely rake set. :)#4: Pam (RhiannonA) on May 15, 2017
Good job Dave!#5: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on May 15, 2017
Fart ass.#6: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 15, 2017
Norma: Yeah, me too. :0#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 15, 2017
Bill: Thanks for recognizing those were rakes. I don't know where Teresa lives, but I'd rake her yard (if it's not too big and there aren't too many leaves).
Kristen: Thank you for the lovely compliment!
Pam: Thanks!
Brian: Brian, Brian, Brian. (Fart ass is even worse than Raft ass - NEITHER of which apply to Teresa!!)
What a loverly rake set. Thank you, Dave! I wish my name had two R's so I could have a set of rakers to go with the rakes. That would be perfect. :-)#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 15, 2017
Brian, I have anagramed so many names, but never Fasstar. I can't believe this is my professional anagram name. Oh my! My son with FAS is the real FAS Star, so I will let him claim this anagram. I can't stop laughing.
Dave, I live in Arizona and right now have lots of dead leaves on the ground from my Oleanders. Any time you want to come rake those up for me, I will have some ice cold Arizona sun tea to serve you while you work.#9: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 15, 2017
Arizona sun tea is the best! (it has something to do with the angle of the sun's rays there)#10: Norma Dee (norm0908) on May 15, 2017
You might want to read this if you like sun tea:#11: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 15, 2017

I loved sun tea but haven't made it for several years due to the bacteria risk.
Well that settles it, Norma - I'm sticking to coffee.#12: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on May 16, 2017
good one dave :)#13: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 16, 2017
Thanks, Travis!#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 16, 2017
Oh my gosh, I had no idea. I will never make sun tea again!#15: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 17, 2017
How about a root beer float?
I'll bring my rake set.#16: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Dec 26, 2018
According to Snopes, "Tea steeped in a jar on your porch won’t get any hotter than 130° Fahrenheit, about the temperature of a really hot bath and not nearly hot enough to kill nasties lurking either in the water or on the tea itself. For that, water needs to be heated to 195° for three to five minutes."#17: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Dec 26, 2018
Anyone boiling tea water for that long would be lynched in the UK. Tea water should be brought up to just boiling and then immediately poured.
Also, the dangers of sun tea (and bacterial contamination in general) are much over-hyped. Unless you are immuno-compromised, this should pose no problems with clean bottles and municipal tap water.
A safer alternative to “sun tea†is “refrigerator tea.†To make it, fill a pitcher with a quart of cold water, add four to six tea bags, and refrigerate it at least six hours or overnight. Squeeze and remove the tea bags, and serve the tea over ice.
