Serena, it's better to not put the description in the title, as it takes away some of the fun of solving.
I know it is artistic licence, but the "horns" of the moon never curve back like this. Sunlight would have to bend around the moon. Shine a flashlight at a golf ball to try to make this happen. You just can't do it.#4: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Apr 13, 2017

They probably just created them for the grade, then didn't give them a second thought.
I think it's nice. It is an artistic rendering, not scientifically accurate, but a fun quick solve and expressive of the subject in a stylized way. It is too bad about the titles though.#8: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Oct 21, 2017
