I've learnt English for years but we had to use "a friend of Igor" and "he even lets them".

Awesome puzzle, Norma.

"A friend of Igor's" is grammatically correct, according to cambridge dictionary's grammar guide:

http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/grammar/british-grammar/determiners/possession-john-s-car-a-friend-of-mine

So, any friend of Igor's is a friend of mine. :-)

Yes, Tiny is beside himself. He was afraid he would be stuck at the North Pole and never get to see the world.

Thank you Belita. Hmm. Hadn't thought about it, but maybe I'll have to give the little guy a name and see.

Belita, thx. I'm not a grammar Nazi but I thought learnt it badly or have forgotten some grammatical forms... :)
