A wonderful idea Marjorie. If I find enough gold I'll take a cruise. However if reality is a little harsher I may only find enough to hire a row boat for a couple of hours on the river. Either way it'll be a bit of fun.

Clever misdirection!

Thanks for the puzzle. Good luck on your adventure and be safe.

Fun puzzle. Watch out for all those nasty creepy crawly things they seem to have in Australia. :)
#6: Gaynor Sorrell (gesorrell) on Apr 1, 2017
How interesting! Do take care.

Thanks everyone. #5 Norma, we don't just have creepy crawlies. The recent article below shows some other critters that we have sent to the US

It's an interesting idea. Sometimes something like this backfires terribly. They say they have spent 3yrs planning, so I hope they have thought it through all the way. I don't like the hunting part, though.

How cold does it get in Australia where these kangaroos are from? Wyoming gets very cold and has a lot of snow in the winter. Average snowfall is 56 inches. It would be a tragedy if they all froze to death.

Oh Norma, I really hoped that you'd notice the publication date.

Oops! I don't get much exposure to the outside world and rarely watch TV anymore. So am not always aware of what's going on. Except for WEBpbn. Good one! You got me. The date is very faint (on purpose, I'm sure) but the photos, etc. look very convincing. LOL

Oh geez, that's funny (the article). I'm glad I was cued to check the date before reading it, or I also would have been alarmed.

Fun puzzle, Robert. So what's the most interesting thing you have found on your swinging adventures?
#12: robert svanberg (tango) on Apr 3, 2017
Teresa, obviously finding gold is a huge buzz. My biggest nugget is 3 troy oz, shaped like a map of the US with some ironstone inclusions looking like the southern Oregon border. That's nice but I like the relics as well. Tacks from old leather boots, horseshoes, old coins. My favourite relic is an 1800's harmonica with the wooden combs between the reeds rotted away but otherwise ready for a music session around the campfire.

Wow that sounds like some cool finds! Have fun and let us know what you find.

That doesn't sound like a holiday at all, but hard work! Hope it was rewarding! Nice puzzle, and the link provided had me going (and worried!) for a minute too. Good joke!

Be safe, and remember that GPS is not always accurate.
