I was not familiar with the word Steampunk, had to google it. Where have I been? When did the use of this word come into common use?
Theresa, that is a good question. I don't know when it came into use, but I jumped on board the geek train a year or two ago. I suppose steampunk is best described as the art of Victorian futurism, in that it is futuristic old fashioned, steam powered stuff.
