Adam it does not require guessing.

Puzzle that require guessing say sow after the titel.

Besides no guessing required was on of the conditions.

I was able to do it without guessing and without assuming the solution was symmetrical. So the solution is really unique.

These kinds of puzzle are not fun for me so I didn't even try it. Thanks anyway for the effort.

The pleasure in this was not the emergence of the pattern, but the logic involved in trying to solve it. Also, it made me stop and think about symmetry. I tried to avoid using symmetry to solve it, and it is still solvable. I have to admit that I checked avoiding using symmetry in a few places and then used it to finish it off. Very interesting. Glad it was not a 60x60.

Didn't do. Really dislike this type of one-dot-at-a-time puzzle.
