This puzzle brings back a memory from my grade school days. I had to make a 3-D owl for an art class. So I took a Readers' Digest, dog-eared every top and bottom corner, and opened it up along the spine into a complete globe. I painted it brown, then glued on eyes, ears, and a beak.
