Someone lifting a barbell who didn't pay attention to the person working out nearby, and bonked them?
This may be the easiest puzzle to solve you've ever made! But then you made up for that with this conundrum.
What's an FBA, anyhow?
#5: Kathy Roth (clyde) on Nov 23, 2016
Maybe this:"She also got a bunch of Playdoh which I have been picking up little pieces of all over the floor auntie Carol. Check the New Brunswick obituaries in the next few days for Niki's name to be there. :) " I'm sure you didn't mean it that harshly! What's an FBA?
#6: Tom King (sgusa) on Nov 23, 2016
Aldege attempting to bestow "honor" on a riddle winner by sticking a Frozen Boot up their arse.
#7: Donna McFarland (jade8114) on Nov 24, 2016
Looks like someone was passing you at night and you did not slow down when they needed to get back over.

OR

That's grandma and she decided to hit the reindeer instead of it hitting her.

As Tom said in #6, FBA is a Frozen Boot Award
#9: Lollipop (lollipop) on Nov 24, 2016
My FBA is virtually (heh) the best thing I've ever won. It takes pride of place on my mantel. Everyone asks me about it.
#10: Jota (jota) on Nov 24, 2016
You burnt dinner!
#11: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Nov 24, 2016
With all these lights, it's hard to understand how anyone could fail to see a snowplough! But, every year, someone does. Watch where you're driving, Al! (That has been a long running public service announcement ad in Canada.)
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 24, 2016
Juli congratulations on winning your very first FBA, This is no ordinary FBA. This one is fur lined and it still has some frozen cow poop on the sole. As Lollipop attested to these FBA'S are extremely prestigious and valuable things to possess. Your friends and family will envy you to no end. They are wonderful conversation pieces and you may want to up your home insurance coverage and perhaps install a home security system. At this point I'm sure your saying to yourself" This man is one weird so and so" and you would be correct.

I'm sorry for hitting a nerve with this topic but I did it because it is a sore spot with me as well. However yesterday I forgot to turn mine off for an oncoming vehicle and I immediately recognized it and felt really bad about it. Then I thought to myself" I wonder if I've ever done this before" and realized that being 64yrs old and being of French Canadian descent there's an extremely good chance that I have. So I am apologizing. Enjoy your ( FROZEN FUR LINED POOP ENCRUSTED BOOT AWARD) Juli.

This is very good Aldege. Well-done. I must admit I'm not too sorry I didn't win the FBA!! 😜
#14: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 24, 2016
man, I need a new FBA. it's been awhile....us common-folk need more opportunities to win, Al!

Happy Thanksgiving, gang!
#15: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 24, 2016
Thx gang for some great guesses. I guess I could of awarded the FBA to you Norma but you weren't specific enough and you already have plenty of FBA'S. Although none quite as special as this one. :)

Sorry CB for the lack of challenge even with blots, but I wasn't as focussed on quality or difficulty as I was in getting a message across. That message is that, yes it is bothersome when someone ahead of you or behind does not turn their high beams off,it actually could happen to any of us. So maybe instead of assuming they're an ass maybe we should give them the benefit of the doubt that they just forgot. Now in my case assuming I'm an ass is a good assumption. But I'm a forgetful ass. As for the FBA hopefully from my buddy Sgusa's comment you have a firm understanding of what it is. And from my good friend and fellow Canuck,Lollipop's comment you can realize the value and honour of having an FBA bestowed upon you is. :)

Kathy,I was actually being kind when I made that comment. Killing Niki for her Playdoh purchase is not nearly enough punishment. Every year Niki is buying Playdoh for the girls. She buys them like 8 different colours each but tells them not to mix colours. She insists that they play with only one colour at a time. What the hell fun is that. You might as well just buy 8 of one colour. That would make it easier on me when I get on my hands and knees and pick the crap up off the floor. She even expects me to keep the colours separate when I pick the little pieces up. I'm thinking of lacing the Playdoh with dog food beef gravy and getting Wrinkles our Chinese Sharpei to eat it. :)

Sgusa,I get the feeling your not as appreciative of my FBA'S as others are.

That's funny Donna. :)

I'm so glad you appreciate yours Lollipop. :)

Again very funny Jota. :)

Around here the snowplough drivers are just mean. They hide around the corner drinking their Tim Horton's coffee and wait till your almost finished clearing your driveway. Then they come racing around the corner and fill it back in for you. I once knelt in my driveway and clasped my hands together begging him to not do it. He just aimed his blade more in my direction and buried me. :)

Thanks Jewel. It's not as bad as it sounds. This was another of my grandma's boots so it's very old and the cow dung has fermented and has sort of sweet smell to it. Rather pleasant actually. :)

Thx Kurt buddy. It's nice to hear from another appreciative past winner. I'll make some more quizzical puzzles. :)

I thought this is Galaga or Space Invaders (it was long time ago, sorry if i can't remember the name) and you are apologizing because puzzle was (surprisingly) easy to solve ;-)
#17: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Nov 25, 2016
Al, I don't think your snowplough drivers are anything special - waiting until driveways are shovelled and then filling them back up from the road is one of the most critical topics in snowplough driver school: you cannot get your snowplough license unless you master that technique and can apply it with the right degree of disdain. We get it twice - once from the sidewalk snowploughs, and a second time from the street snowploughs - that ensures that I get to shovel my driveway three days in a row from one snowfall.
#18: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Nov 26, 2016
The odd time that I do this I actually apologize out loud even if there is no one but me in the car. Great puzzle
#19: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 26, 2016
Yes pedrag I probably should apologize for this puzzle being so easy. It's not like me at all. :)

It always seems worst when it happens to you though John. I know these guys all went to the same college and graduated with honours. They get a Timmy's gift card with their diploma's. :)

Thx Susan. I've done the same Susan. I also get embarrassed if I flash my high beams at someone only to have them flash them back at me to let me know their high beams weren't on. :)
#20: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Nov 26, 2016
Also annoying is the driver who deliberately rides your bumper with the brights on.
#21: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Nov 28, 2016
Omgosh, Aldege...tell Niki to let the girls create color masterpieces with their playdough! Sure the colors get mixed...but the girls will figure out new things to make with the mottled colors...you can show them how to magically make green out of blue and yellow! Otherwise she might actually be fostering the beginning of obsessive/compulsive tendencies in them lol. Methinks Niki is a perfectionist...hard row to hoe.
#22: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 29, 2016
Niki is somewhat of a perfectionist but her real issues are that she is ADHD,BIPOLER,ODD and OCD. Both her boys have been diagnosed the same except for bipoler. One boy is believed to be high functioning Autistic but has not been diagnosed as such yet. I don't know how many of you can identify with what it is like to live with such a crew. I always considered myself to be mentally stable, however after living with Niki and her 2 boys for almost 8 yrs now. I often wonder if I have transformed into something less than human due to the stress I am subjected to daily. Thankfully I have my 3 girls that bring me more joy than you can imagine. If not for them I would be either dead or living on my own. I knew nothing of Niki's issues prior to falling in love with her and by that time it was too late. I will continue to suffer until my girls are old enough to stand on their own and will be able to understand. I'm sorry to dump this crap on you but it feels good to get it out. I hope you can all understand my feelings and not judge me too harshly. :)
#23: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Nov 29, 2016
Always remember all the very good friends you have made here and know how much we care about you. Feel free to "dump" anytime. There will always be someone here for you. I think some of us can understand your problems, knowing how difficult it can be. Particularly how unpredictable life can be. Hang in there, Aldege.
#24: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 29, 2016
(((HUGS)))
#25: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 29, 2016
Thx Norma and Teresa. I do know that I can count on my family here on WEBPBN to be there for me. I love you guys as well and being with all of you thru our puzzles gives me strength. I stay positive for my girls. Thx for understanding and hugs to both of you. :)
#26: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Nov 30, 2016
I can identify to a certain extent. My son is ADHD, diabetic, somewhere on the mild end of the autistic scale, and identified as gifted. He has grown into a competent caring self-sufficient adult. Meanwhile my daughter was born self-sufficient, competent, and a caring peacemaker (and kept those attributes into adulthood). So, I have the same situation in a lower key, more easily handled, miniature version - but I can sympathize with your problems, and hope that your situation works out as well for you as it has for me.
#27: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 30, 2016
Thx for sharing John. It helps to hear from others who have experience with it. Your not the first person to tell me about having children with ADHD that are somewhat gifted and show above normal intelligence. They have grown up to be successful professional people. I'm sure that could happen for Niki's boys. We have people working with them to learn how to channel their strengths. We have put the boys in Cadets which is giving them the discipline and structure they require. Now it's just a matter of if I can handle it all until they mature. Thx again John. :)
