Oh, hurray!

That was a fun puzzle, Aldege, but I can't quite make out the image, don't see Jennifer or a package. Please help.
#5: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 17, 2016
Thx aunties Norma,Jota,Travis and Teresa.

Auntie Jenny says she received the package yesterday but she doesn't check her mail everyday so she picked it up today. She said it appears to be intact and not tampered with. Amazing.lol.

At left is a small boat with a sail and part of the package exposed. It is beached at a small Island with a palm tree. I am basically making fun of Maui mail service, implying that the package may have been lost before finally making it to aunt Jenny. :)

Great Puzzle and I am glad everything got there in one piece. Now we just need to hear from Jennifer to see how they tasted.

Thank you, Aldege. You and Niki are good parents, and I know this was your accomplishment, but Destyny has a right to be proud, too. This may take a little time. I'm waiting for my friend, Hanzy, to take a picture of me with the box. Then, I have to find a neighbor or another friend to take a picture of Hanzy and me opening the box very carefully. I want to save the address part for me to save. Then, my friend/neighbor can take a picture of Hanzy and me enjoying the cookies. I will save all of this for my memory book, but I will send all the pictures to Destyny to show her friends. My digital camera is not brand new, so I'm hoping my idea all works out for Destyny. I'll take a picture of my house, too. I thought I'd find a map of Hawai`i on the internet, as well as a map of Maui, where I can circle where my house is and where Hanzy's house is. We both live in what is called upcountry Maui (in the mountains). There are no palm trees this high up. Nonetheless, that is a very good drawing of my island. I think everything got from here to you and back to me by sail boat--good one. As are many people in Hawai`i, Hanzy is of mixed racial background, including Hawaiian. Although he has some German and some Japanese, he looks very Hawaiian, so Destyny and you can see what a lot of people here look like. I am what is called a "mainland haole." That means, I am a white person from the main part of the United States (Arizona, to be precise), but I have lived in Hawai`i for 40 years. My ancestors were English, Irish, and Scottish. I probably look similar to a lot of people you know in Canada. Hanzy is 30 years younger than I am, but we are close friends. We feel like brother and sister. I'm close to his mother, too, who is about my age. He has a hanai brother. That's like a foster brother. He is mostly Portuguese. His mother is hanai, too. This is something unique to Hawai`i. His birth mother is still alive and living on Maui, yet Hanzy also has an hanai family. He comes from a family of 3 boys and 2 girls and is close to all of them. His hanai family has one boy (other than Hanzy) and one girl, who also is named Jennifer. How about that? I am closer to Hanzy's brother, Ernest (hanai brother). I will try to explain some of this stuff to Destyny, as well as what we all do for a living and for fun. Don't look for it in the mail just yet.

Aloha,

Aunty Jenny/Jennifer

Jennifer, this is so great. Destyny will treasure everything about this experience and I feel so privileged to watch it unfold.

Aldege and Jennifer this has been great sharing this adventure with both of you. Thank you.

Your welcome auntie Norma, auntie Donna, and uncle Sensei. This was a kind and wonderful thought by aunt Jenny that came into fruition by combined efforts from Destyny,Niki, aunt Jenny and myself and encouraged and supported by all of Destyny's aunts and uncles here on WEBPBN. It took awhile to happen but was well worth the wait. When I told Destyny that the cookies got to aunt Jenny and I read her comment to Destyny she got all excited. She wanted me to dictate a letter to aunt Jenny right away. It was total gibberish however having something to do with some boy at school who is totally and insanely in love with her.lol. I am so glad that we were all able to share and enjoy this experience. I just feel it is so cool how we can all be such good friends even though we've never met. Thanks gang. :)

I went to Maui in 1987 or so. We stayed in Lahaina, but of course we had to take the road to Hana (we saw a whale cresting along the way)! We also made the climb to the top of Mt. Haleakala, only to look down and see a cloud instead of the caldera. It was an amazing trip (I was in middle school), and I would love to go back sometime!
