I can't stand to read the news. That's why I'm in the puzzles. Good one, Kurt. What is advanced logic?
#2: Rhinoceros (Rhino) on Nov 10, 2016
The odds of the apocalypse happening soon have gone up significantly in the past couple of days.

Great fun puzzle, Kurt. Love the edge logic. My sentiments exactly.

JT, click on the FAQ tab at the left and click on the link for Advanced Puzzle Solving Techniques. Jan (the creator of this site) has defined what puzzle logic rules are followed here.

Nice, I can definitely picture that man (like Moses) with the "tablet" sent from the heavens. Don't we think that the electoral college is outdated? Hillary has the popular vote. I thought that we elected for the people and BY the people! Time for a change in the right direction!!

Ah yes, Kurt, it really does feel like the end is near. I cried all day yesterday. It's scary to know what a man who reacts first and thinks later could do to this country and the world. I'm praying that God teaches him humility, wisdom and empathy. Yes Ellen, the EC does feel outdated.

Enough, already. Wake me when it's over.

oh, I wasn't going all political. I'm just saying that if you told me that 3 years ago, I'd ask "what have you been smoking?"....then again, if in the year 2000 you told me that planes would fly into buildings in NYC, I'd have told you "you're nuts, that'll never happen." it did, it has, and we learn to move on somehow. being a St Louis boy, the Cubs recent win is shocking enough. I suppose pigs will be flying tomorrow..... ;)
#11: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Nov 10, 2016
You're right, Kurt. Moving on is the key word here.
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 10, 2016
Nice image Kurt. He looks suspiciously like Emperor Aldège only he could be more cruel to his flock. Are we maybe jumping to conclusions gang? Is it possible he's playing a game with the citizens of the U.S. I'm wondering if he hasn't made a bet with someone that no matter how bad of a person he is and no matter what he says or does that he could be voted to be President. Now that he has proven that it's possible that he may not follow thru with what he and his V.P. have said they will do. It's also possible that he is also so stupid that he is pooping his pants now cause whether he follows thru or not, surely he has just signed his own death wish. I have a strong feeling that he could possibly be assassinated either way. We will have to wait and see how this plays out. I know one thing. People are already talking about WWIII. The possibility of that happening is now affecting me personally. I'm in a good place with my family and anything that f#!%'s with that really pisses me off. I will remain optimistic about our future. :)
#13: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Nov 10, 2016
I am sorry, Kurt, I didn't mean to bring the mood down. I am just saying that if people want change, then let's change the system that makes it broken in the first place. Al, I really don't think that WWIII will happen in our life time. He may not be my choice for a president, but I don't think that he wants all his money go down the drain, either.
#14: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Nov 10, 2016
I don't think so either Ellen. I've heard other people talk about it. I'm just saying that as ludicrous as it sounds if it does happen because of Donald,I will be pissed. Not that I can do anything about it,but let it be known I will go to my grave being pissed with Donald.lol. Answer me this Ellen if you don't mind. Why would someone who has as much money as he does want to chance ruining it by becoming President? Also why would you chance going to prison for raping a young girl? With his money he could have almost anyone he wants.
#15: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Nov 10, 2016
The young girl backed down. Hillary had lots of foreign money backing her, donating to a much abused and misused Clinton Foundation. Which I understand is still undergoing investigation. Where the money was probably coming from is really scary. Qatar gave Bill a one million dollar birthday present just like that. Like we might send someone a card. I don't really want to learn to speak Arabic this late in life. :)

Awesome puzzle and I'm one of the half "happy" ones in both counts!
#17: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Nov 12, 2016
To answer your question of Ellen, Aldege, I'd say ego. Let's hope the current 75 lawsuits against him and the federal investigation into his charitable foundation keep him too busy to cause much harm. The first lawsuit against Trump University starts this month with Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who was born in Indiana, presiding. DT told reporters the case was stacked against him because Judge Curiel was Mexican and he's building a wall between the US and Mexico. Should be interesting.
#18: Susan Eberhardt (susaneber) on Nov 14, 2016
Norma, the Clinton Foundation is subject to regular checking just like other charities of its kind and has the highest rating. The Clintons put money in the foundation and don't take a salary for running it.The Qatar donation was supposed to be used for Haiti. However, the Trump Foundation is a different type and not checked by the rating agency. Trump has used the money for personal and business purposes. It is now under investigation along with Trump's connections with Russia and the ways his businesses will create a conflict of interest. A lot depends on this investigation and all his other legal entanglements and we won't know for a while whether he will be able to be inaugurated or perhaps impeached afterward. They say Russian is a difficult language.

Susan, thank you for your informed report. I like it when people actually check out all the facts behind issues like this.
#20: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Dec 10, 2022
It's interesting to go back and read what we were saying before everything happened. Sigh...just the fact that that idiot could not accept the fact he lost the second election!!!! How different the country could have been with Hillary at the helm...especially through covid. America is not the country I thought it was, with strong underpinning. We have been such a nation of fools. I hope we have learned and will do better in the near future as well as later.
