I'm torn,but I think I have to pull for Cleveland. :)

Cubbies won! They have a lot of fans in the Phoenix area because they have trained here for many years. When they were in Scottsdale they were just a few block from where my sister lives. I was always going to go to a game with her, but they were very popular and they would be sold out when I would be able to go.

Since the Indians eliminated the Blue Jays, it is payback for them to get defeat so resoundingly :-)

That a team can beat a drought of 108 years gives some measure of hope to Maple Leaf fans (at least some Leaf fans still alive are able to remember their most recent Stanley Cup - I strongly doubt that there is any Cubs fan alive that can remember watching the 1908 series happen).

That's why I was torn John. Yes it is payback but by the same token if Cleveland won then we could say we got beat by the World Champions. I'm happy for Chicago fans to finally end the drought. As for Toronto I think you still have a long wait. My Habs are looking good though. :)
