Sounds great. On the back roads around our cottage, we used to ride in our station wagon, with my brother and I (and other kids) standing or sitting on the open tailgate. We loved it.

Wonderful puzzle, Donna. How cool to share your good memories this way.

Great image Donna, love the Model T. The only dangerous thing about being pulled by that 8 HP rocket is the knoxious fumes you inhaled. If you haven't grown a second head by now I wouldn't worry too much. Great memories aren't they? Yours too John. My brothers and sisters and I use to slide down the Hamilton escarpment on cardboard bread boxes. John may have some knowledge of how freaking dangerous that was. My mom stopped us when she found out but then got even angrier when we started sliding in same bread cartons down our staircase with her Encyclopedia bookcase perched at the bottom for us the crash in and topple over. Those books hurt when you get hit over the head with them. Especially when your mothers hands are still attached to the one end of them. :)

As much as you love to entertain your daughters, Al, there's still a lot of little boy left.

In college, the few times it snowed (we were in central Texas), we'd grab cafeteria trays to use as sleds. :)
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 15, 2016
