I have read several reports that headline "Sports help your brain" or something similar. But when I read the actual research report and the statements of the scientists, I think what they actually learn is that brains that work faster, more efficiently, result in better athletics. So many times I read media reports that forget the important rule that "correlation does not imply causation."#2: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 8, 2016
Science does show that regular exercise does improve brain function. But that's another puzzle. :-)
Webpbn is about as exciting as it gets for me. Absolutely wonderful image, though. For a while, golf was my passion.#3: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Oct 8, 2016
I like to bowl (especially when I beat my husband!). I love basketball, baseball, and badminton. I can't run as well as I used to, but still like to play. I play golf, but can't walk the course any more or afford the greens fees.#4: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Oct 8, 2016
Don't really participate in any organized sports. For me it is hiking, swimming and walking. Excellent image Teresa#5: jewel crown (Jewel) on Oct 8, 2016
Awesome image Teresa. I love swimming, but it's not an organized activity. I also love dancing!!#6: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 8, 2016
Another great image Teresa. This is a wonderful series that's striking many emotions in me. Your making me realize how fortunate a person I am. I'm not trying to boast here, but I happen to be good at a lot of sports and am fairly artistic and have played music in bands. My passion for playing individual and organized sports is equal to my passion for music. My love for tennis, golf and bowling are right up there with hockey, football or baseball. There are few sports or activities that I do not enjoy. Thanks for this series Teresa. :)#7: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 8, 2016
P.S. I'm pretty good at making cute babies too. lol. :)
Yep, you are, Aldege.#8: Jota (jota) on Oct 8, 2016
Indeed Al!#9: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 9, 2016
I dance on occasion.#10: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 10, 2016 [SPOILER]

I'm with you David,I'll watch almost any sport unless Masha and the Bear is on. BTW did you watch my Blue Jays take it to Texas Rangers last night. What a way to lose the game. :)#12: Claudia (clau_bolson) on Oct 10, 2016
None for me! I was a disaster when I was a teenager - the one left last when they picked up teams - and I hated it since then.#13: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 10, 2016
My mother started me on piano lessons at an early age and I was pretty much prohibited from participating in sports for fear of hurting my precious fingers.#14: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 11, 2016
Me too, Claudia.#15: Gary Webster (glwebste) on Oct 11, 2016
I'm a bit like Aldege in this. In my past, I've played basketball, volleyball, baseball (not a lot), tennis, and golf, and was a rock climber for a while. I'm a big fan of team sports, and my current passions are tennis (I'm a coach of a high school team as well as a player), golf, and acting (the ultimate team sport, in a way!). This counters my complete lack of musical ability!#16: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Oct 11, 2016
I'm an avid bowler...I even watch it on television! I'm surprised how many bowlers are in our group here! I used to hike and hadn't for years. Then my husband had a foot operation and needed to walk. So we kept walking the same beach road trail and although pretty, it got to be boring. So I suggested we combine geocaching and hiking which we now both enjoy very much.#17: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 11, 2016
Great puzzle Teresa! Love the series!
I don't want to talk about it Al :(#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 11, 2016
Thanks for all the comments, guys. Wow, what an active bunch you are. I was pretty good at croquet. Does that count?#19: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 11, 2016
Ny two favorites so far are Kristen's Dancing and Aldege's Babymaking. :-)
Which is it Carol,5 or 10 pin bowling. I could watch 10 pin all day long. My favourite bowler is Norm Duke. (duke, duke, duke). I use to bowl 10 pin in 3 different leagues at one time. I had a 225 avg. and almost rolled a perfect game once having 11 strikes in a row and finishing with a 276 game. My wife Niki is an avid geocacher.#20: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Oct 23, 2016
I've always wanted to try acting Gary. I think anyone who does live theatre or any acting is amazing.
Gary teaches and coaches tennis and golf. I've had visions of opening my own babymaking studio. Does anyone think there's a market for it? :)
It's 10 pin bowling, Aldege. I've bowled in three leagues at a time too but now I'm down to twice a week; a Wednesday evening ladies league and a Sunday evening mixed league with my husband, Ken. 225! Nice average. I think the highest average I ever achieved was a 170. Though in No Tap (a silly game in which if you get 9 of the 10 pins in the first ball, you get a strike), I had around a 215 average. My highest game is a 277 and my highest three game series is 697...just missed that illusive 700.#21: Ronda Polack (bowsocks) on Jun 11, 2018
Teresa, Have you ever checked your eye dominance? I am left handed and right eye dominate. I think it is what caused me to have a challenging time with balls, bats and ratchets. I now bowl right handed and am not to bad. Which means, I do not embarrass myself and bowl in my lane. Thanks for all your puzzles.#22: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 13, 2018
I'm enjoying this series. I love hiking and mini golf. If a group of my friends are playing anything, I'll join.
