It's good to have some easy ones. I confess I'm not thrilled with this recent trend of using letters as pictures.#3: Adam Nielson (monkey) on May 28, 2008 [SPOILER]

& there is nothing wrong with being obsessed with religion :)#6: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
GYPSO's back YAY!!
Obsession with ANYTHING is bad. Even obsession with good things, like exercise, or even religion. You have to have balance in your life.#7: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 27, 2008
True dat Adam ( I'm so sorry but I've forgotten what name we've settled on calling you-help!).#8: Rea Aksglæde Karlsen (Rea) on Jun 27, 2008
But who determines how much is obsessive? And then again, if the corner of the world you hail from has an absence of anything religious, then 2 puzzles out of 10 on the subject might seem excessive. In the greater scheme of total puzzle content on this site, I don't think it is at all.
In other words, I think it's all a matter of perspective. :-)
i second that gypso... and I believe it is best to have a positive perspective on anything and everything whether its religion or pbn puzzles#9: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 27, 2008
I think I am obsessed with being obsessed with the fact that I don't want to obsess about any obsession that I might be obsessing about!#10: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
Amen Nancy!#11: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 27, 2008
See what I mean, jelly bean?#12: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
So, who is jelly bean? Is that a new name you have given me?#13: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 27, 2008
no thats me :)#14: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
Whew! :-) lol#15: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 27, 2008
If you were a jelly bean Doc, what flavor would you be?#16: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
Wow. I prefer Bernie Bott's every flavored beans (from harry Potter). There is a Jelly Belly factory in CA, and they actually have flavors like dirt, pepper, jalapeno, etc. Nasty stuff! I prefer pina colada, and strawberry cheesecake. Stuff like that.#17: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 27, 2008
where is California is it?#18: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 27, 2008
I LOVE Jelly Beans !
Just outside of Sacramento on the Nevada side. I think it's called Clearfield or something like that. I could look it up and let you know.#19: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 27, 2008

Have you been to the one in Wisconsin DB?
(Hey, I just gave you another name!)
I like to use the recipes on the side of the jelly bellie boxes!#23: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 28, 2008
Lol, your comment about obsession waay up there, Naneki! That's me too!
There are recipes on the side of jelly bean boxes?#24: Jen (LightVader) on Jun 28, 2008
Arduinna..try not to obsess about it...cause then I'll have to obsess that I made you remember your obsessions about not obsessing on your obsessions ...wow this could go on forever couldn't it :)
Naneki, I don't even like jelly beans and I knew there were recipes on the side. It just tells you which combination of jelly bean flavors to try together.#25: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 28, 2008
thanks...see how observant I am :)#26: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 28, 2008
of course I usually buy them by the bag
How can you NOT like jelly beans? They are a staple of life!#27: Jen (LightVader) on Jun 28, 2008
Too chewy for me. I'm not a big fan of chocolate either. Go figure.#28: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 28, 2008
Wow. That hurts my ears to hear that (actually it hurts my ears to read that).#29: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 28, 2008
besides jelly beans one of my other favorite candies is Hot Tamales..I like chocolate if it's with something, like rolo's, 3 musketeers, etc.#30: Jen (LightVader) on Jun 28, 2008
No Hot Tamales for me. I'll have some Reese's Pieces though :)#31: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 28, 2008

Gypso ..you know you can count on me :)
Jelly beans leave me cold too.#47: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 29, 2008
I was never that big on candy, and really can't eat it at all these days, but my favorite used to be the Mon Chéri candies made in Italy by Ferrero. Unfortunately they aren't sold in the US at all, probably because the US has some weird puritan bias against alcohol-filled candies. (There is a candy sold by that name in the US, but it has a hazelnut filling instead of a cherry filling, which is perfectly edible, but not the same.)
I had a friend from Bakersfield; it's hot there!#48: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 29, 2008
Ahhh, Bakersfield in August. :-)#49: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 29, 2008
110's. Not too bad, really. :-)#50: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 29, 2008

we had temp up in the 100's last weekend & I thought for sure I WAS GOING TO MELT AWAY...up here on the coast the temp get up in the 80's & maybe 90's & there is always a nice cool ocean wind to make any temperature bearable but during that 4 day heat wave we had an offshore HOT wind!! I felt like I was out in the desert & there was no escape (we don't have Air Conditioners here... It was horrible!!#53: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 29, 2008
Adam do you still have family in Bakersfield?
Of course. My parents and 2 siblings love there. Sorry it got so hot for you. No A/C? Wow. Unimaginable for me.#54: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 29, 2008
