I wonder how many people hang calendars on their walls now?

I actually have two one in my kitchen and one in my office.

Another great puzzle.

We have 3. One in kitchen and 2 in dining room. One is just for the girls to see a different Disney character each month. Another is a Montreal Canadiens so I can see a different player each month. The last one is scenes from New Brunswick. This one we mark down our appointments for the month. :)

Many of my friends and family get me calendars for Christmas gifts. They think they're being lazy (one-stop shopping at CVS, grab a dozen and you're done), but I find them incredibly useful. By hanging several next to each other, we can track reminders, bill due dates, appointments, etc. all in one place without cluttering up just one.
And as long as the pictures aren't diabetes-inducing, I love them.

I used to spend hours in the book store when the new calendars came out. I had to examine each one. Usually ended up with baby animals of some kind.

I'm looking at about fifteen 2016 calendars that came in the mail as free gifts from the charities to which I give. I used to bring them into work and put em on the up-for-grabs table. Now that I'm retired, I'm not sure what to do with them. I only need two but it seems wasteful to throw the rest out.

A wall calendar is still very useful! Lots of independent business people I know use one of those great big ones with all their "to dos," filled in, so they never have to stop and figure out what's on the agenda today. One woman I know uses two like that side by side to see two months ahead, when she tears the current page off the left one she just switches the two calendars so what was next month before becomes the current month now.
