OMG! Sounds like something politicians would do. There is a 'S' curve that so many accidents have happened (I was hit there and it totaled my car.) because it is so narrow. School buses get so close that students reach out and shake hands. One driver even hit a sign going through it. They would rather put side walks in the downtown area instead of widening this road.

Love your car.

Thx Tom buddy. I was reading a local newspaper when I came across this article. I started laughing as soon as I read it and thought it would be great to share it with my PBN friends via a puzzle. :)

That's funny Donna about the kids shaking hands. :)

Thx Travis. BTW that is suppose to be a gravel truck swerving to miss a pot hole that it should be filling. Apparently the reason that Tobique Narrows is not on the repair list is because the pot holes got so bad that the residents started filling the holes with their own gravel. The town decided therefor that they did not need repairing yet. That's the thanks the residents get. :)

Sometimes you can't win for losing!

Like they say, a camel is a horse designed by a committee. I had a friend who got his first teaching job in a small town in AZ. Part of a pipe became exposed on the playground and was deemed hazardous because some of the students had tripped over it. My friend sat at a teachers meeting, groaning inwardly while they discussed at great length what to do about the pipe. Fence it off, assign a monitor, etc. They still had not reached a decision when the janitor stepped in the room waving the piece of pipe and let them know he had dug it up a filled in the hole.

That's hilarious Norma. Oh and the name of the local paper that I am reading is "The Blackfly Gazette". How appropriate. :)
