The early settlers must have endured terrible pain from tooth aches. It would take a lot of courage to start a trek westward with usually with no dentist. And think of the poor kids. Their teeth must have been really bad without proper diet along the way.#4: Al LaPointe (kancamagus) on Sep 16, 2016

I came from a very big and poor family upbringing Norma. My parents were not very diligent about their children's dental health.
