An electric razor (or shaver). No FBA's my mantel fell off the wall with the last one and all the plants died that were underneath.

A keurig coffee maker?

Spot on Norma. You earned another FBA. Are those tears of joy I hear? Maybe it's Donna I hear crying over her crushed plants,which I am deeply sorry for Donna. Good news is I decided to award FBA'S to the first two respondents of this puzzle. So either build a better mantle,or just stack your FBA'S on the crushed plants.

Anyway,Niki's ahem..Keurig is always spitting and farting and generally tossing all sorts of frustration her way while my little 2 cupper keeps providing me with delicious dark roast orgasmically delicious and nutritious coffee day after day like the energizer bunny on steroids. She got so upset with it yesterday that she tossed the filter somewhat toward the garbage can and ended up with a worst mess than the Keurig could even conceive of making. Meanwhile I was sitting and enjoying my morning pick me up while being entertained by her antics. It's probably that flavoured horseshit that she brews in it that causes it to malfunction. I tell her this to which she replies.."Your an idiot".

Really tough puzzle! I think I guessed through half of it!

I don't drink coffee but please don't get me started on the wastefulness of those Keurig coffee pods! Let's think about our environment over ease of use. Glad you're using your two cupper, Aldege! Geez, I got that off my chest!

I remember using a percolator when I was young Al. Can you still buy them or is yours passed down from generations of family. I also enjoy it the camping way where you boil water in a pot and pour the hot water over a paper filter full of ground coffee beans and it drips into a cup or pot. :)

So true Tonia and my wife just soaks it up. Now she's saying it needs descaling. I told her to use diluted bleach or vinegar or CLR like I do on my machine. No no no.. apparently you have to use special Keurig descaling crap. I want to permanently descale it with a good kick while wearing an FBA. :)

Apparently the percolators are still very much around. Both electric and stove top. Amazon and Walmart both carry them as well as as eBay. I'm tempted to buy one. I remember how good the coffee smelled in the morning even though I didn't drink it.

loved the line logic in this one. if anybody's line logic stuck, this was the trickiest move for me to find:

whether the black in C9R7 is part of the second 1 clue or the 2 clue (which are the only possibilities), C9R9 is a dot

Thanks for the hugs, Kristen. This page was still up this morning when I got on my computer. I can't believe you found my post. I felt better for writing it and things feel a bit better today. I'm sure this will surface for me several years down the road and it will make me smile again.

(I don't see nearly all of the comments on the site, but I try to regularly go to "Forum" and select "New replies to my comments," because otherwise it can be years before I'll find something that I should have seen sooner. Also, on the main page of the website, if a puzzle is getting a lot of comments I click to see them. That's how I found this one.)

(Someday after the pandemic, when I'm not spending 24x7 being fulltime mom to my teenaged toddler, I plan to add some options to the forums where each person can choose whether to have comments e-mailed to them.)

Mine is set to "New Comments for Solved Puzzles"

When I ask for "New Comments for Solved Puzzles" I get about 75 threads. That's going to take some work to wade through.

It's a lot at first, but then it whittles its way down :)

i recently worked my way through all of my "New Comments for Solved Puzzles". before that i always just checked "New Replies to My Comments". felt good to get the list knocked out AND i found a lot of good conversations in the process!
