the only look-ahead is an instance of el at the beginning. very careful color logic does indeed solve without any guessing for the tail. it's tricky, but it works(without any look-ahead moves!). sorry folks, no guessing on this one....#8: Jane Butcher (jane-o) on Nov 24, 2019
