From French to English
LA means 'her'

Cinquantieme means '50th'

so 'her fiftieth' is the title, but I am not sure what the numbers mean

My guess is someone just turned 50.

I think "la" just means "the", doesn't it? (or is that "le"? Or is "le" masculine and "la" feminine? I never studied French).
