What do your letters and numbers mean where you say, "Start R1." ?

R1 means row 1
Florence, good question if your not familiar with these kind of puzzles
R18 row 18
C9 column 9
C1 column 1

SO R1 C9 means the first row (across) then you would count over 9 to get to Column 9.

Does this explain it? Let me know if you have any more.

I almost didn't solve because of the title, because sometimes patterns do not have any meaning, but this isn't the case. No hint needed, it solves straight with line/color logic.

agree with #9. I put it off for almost a week then finally gave it a shot because there weren't any new ones for a few days.
I like the final image :)
For a while during solving, I thought it was gonna be "barrel of monkeys" from the arms, and admitted that monkeys are technically exotic.
So the final image of pistol-packing senoritas was a nice surprise!
