Puzzle Description:

Promenade: Mussorgsky wrote Pictures at an Exhibition in memory of his friend, Viktor Hartmann, an architect and artist. The first part is the promenade, which depicts ambling through the gallery looking at the pictures.

The next ten "Pictures" show the themes of each artwork as described in the music. I have made no attempt at duplicating Hartmann's pictures, many of which are lost, and others could never be pixelated. These are mostly my own interpretations. Here's the music:
