Wonderful puzzle. And interesting profession. Must be fun to do something so creative.

good one deborah :)
#4: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 5, 2017
Very nice pair of scissors. And I like that you included what the snippers were snipping.
#5: Belita (belita) on Apr 5, 2017
How cool! I thought you were going to say you were a hairdresser. Which could be just as artistic, but more mundane.
#6: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Apr 8, 2017
Lovely. :)
#7: Vicki Woods (vickicwoods) on Apr 10, 2017
I've always admired the silhouette artists at Disneyland. Have you ever done that?
#8: Susan (Susan) on Jun 27, 2017
Very nice puzzle! Nice to meet another artist too! Is there a website where we can see any of your work?

Very nice puzzle! Nice to meet another artist too! Is there a website where we can see any of your work? Oh, I think I found it, is this you? The work I see is lovely.

Thank you for the compliments! Yes, that's my website, although it's been a little neglected of late because I have a newer one that is my "professional" site:

I've never tried cutting silhouettes. My work is more like 'painting' with paper. I cut printed pages into tiny pieces, then use these snips as 'brushstrokes' to create a completely new image.

Deborah, your work is absolutely stunning. And your background is interesting too. :-)
#12: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 17, 2017
Ditto Teresa. Beautiful work.
#13: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Oct 18, 2017
Oh my, Deborah...just visited your site and now I want to see your work in person. When your image can transmit so much on my poor computer (seriously, salvaged this one from my daughter's trash because I just need it as a guide lol...),how much more must it be able to say without this filter. Were you taught this cut paper technique or did you try it out and make it up as you explored it? However you came by it, it's dynamic.

I'll use this (double post earlier) to say, thanks, Deborah!
#15: Deborah Eater (cricketswool) on Oct 19, 2017
@JoDeen -- Thank you kindly! I originally borrowed the idea from another artist who did something similar with torn paper but over the last 15 years I've refined my own way of doing it.

WOW, your art is incredible! Anyone who hasn't gone to her web site yet, DO IT!
