As Alisa noted, it's not bad at all to guess. But trial and error seems best done with R18C14 being red and getting a contradiction. You can then eliminate the R12 reds everywhere except C15, and then color logic does the job.
A fun puzzle. Maybe I went the long way solving it just because I wanted to spend a little more time on the neat image.

Initial line & color logic completes 92% with red and green remaining.
C14 must have red in either R16 or R17. If it’s in R16, R16C13 is green, and R17-18 C13 are white. If the red is in R17C14, R18C14 is green. Either of these puts red in R20C14 and green in R18C14.
