I agree - no guessing. At a point where I might have been stuck, I realized that at a minimum, three of the five 2's in C36-40 must be placed somewhere in R18-20. This meant that the 5 in R9 could NOT go in C36-40 and therefore must be contained within C29-34 (can place 4 of the 5). I think this technique is referred to as "summing." Then LL plus Jan's variation of smile logic finished it.
