Personally, I would have guessed depression (the black dog) before sleep problems.
I don't recall. From Joe's list, I would guess 9/11. I am a sleep apnea sufferer but I wouldn't wear a ribbon. A black ribbon is also worn by someone in mourning. In the Jewish faith, they tear the bottom.
