I don't think so. People can see the whole puzzle is made up of ones. They can choose to solve or ignore it. I ended up solving by filling in the whole thing with dots and then single clicked all of the color into place once I saw the pattern emerging. I used it as an exercise in right clicking to make as few clicks as possible. I did blue first, then green, then red, then black, then the dots.
