Blotted clues changed by mootpoint#7: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Aug 2, 2025
For those of you who are astronomy sticklers, I'm lying to you. If we are in the northern hemisphere, that is a waxing crescent moon which would have set well before midnight even in midsummer. Conversely, the rising waning crescent moon in the southern hemisphere would not be rising until well after midnight.#8: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Aug 2, 2025

Re Brian's #8: Jan's code used to lump a lot of types of edits (to published puzzles) together into a single all-purpose message that didn't always apply. I've done some fine-tuning of that, but it looks like more is needed. I'll add it to my To Do list. Thanks for noticing that!#11: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Aug 6, 2025
