March 14th in America, or the 22nd of July in Europe.

Decimals vs. fractions? It seemed a bit irrational, at first.
#5: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jan 22, 2019 [SPOILER]       classify
In America, the month is first. So Mar 14 = 3.14. In Europe the day is first so Mar 14 = 14.3

However that works for the 22nd of July which would be 22/7 (which is actually a closer approximation).
#6: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Mar 11, 2024       classify
A very slightly closer approximation...that's why I celebrate at 1:59:27 in the morning so that the Europeans don't win!
