My best guess: The three figures on the left are leaping to toss a volleyball back and forth over a net. The person on the right is crouching and looks ready to bop the ball too.
Hm.
At first I thought they were runners at the end tape, even though it didn't quite make sense. But I believe you are correct, Valerie. I see the volleyball players, too.
