Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by dbouldin.

Yeah that's sad isn't it? :(

This is showing as some guessing required. At last I can fix that. After LL, EL dots C6R11, LL finishes it off.

I think I was able to guess this without any edge logic.

At some points the in-site hints don't show us everything. For me, it was when LL knocked out about 60% (thanks again Valerie for implementing this! It should be useful for this sort of thing) first.

Here the hints don't see we can place a dot in line 10 (the 1-2-1) at some point. C5 is black, c8 is a dot, and C13 is black. That means C7 must be a dot or we'd x-1-x or a 3. Then C7R11 must be a dot, putting the 4 in R11 at C1.

I think I've checked my work, but if someone else could review to make sure I didn't make too much of a jump, that'd be very nice.

I got to about 58% with line logic. Then I used edge logic on the top row, then later edge logic on the 4 in column 18. (Columns 19 and 20 were already filled in by then, which is how there was an edge to use for edge logic in column 18.)

So I agree with David and Andrew that no guessing is required and that the puzzle needs moderate lookahead.

Any idea what the picture is? I see a building on the top left, a smokestack in the middle of the top, and the front is maybe a bike with a flat tire. Or a person in a restaurant with a plate in front of them, with a little chair hovering in mid-air. Aldege, we need you!!

There's a chance it's the front of a locomotive?

David, once you said that, it really popped! It has to be! Viewed from the side, driving toward the right. Thanks!
