Definitely not LL only#2: Jota (jota) on Jan 20, 2020
LL gets you a little over halfway.
Note that the block of four in r12c8-11 does not have to be the 4 in that row; it could be the blob with the 4 going in c15-18.
Then EL blob r1 = c17 w
EL 2 r2 = c17 w
EL 3 c17 = r3 w
2-way logic on the right 2 in r8 will force either the 6 in c18 or the 5 in c20 down into r13. Either way, r13c19 must be white.
but then I'm stuck for logic.
What is it Al?#3: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on May 25, 2020

(IEL) if the 6 in C18 goes through R11,12,13 it violates C17
fun solve!

Love your puzzles.....I love it when I have to really work hard at them and that's what your puzzles do.....thanks!!!#10: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jun 10, 2024
Found to be solvable by line logic alone by dbouldin.#11: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 10, 2024 [HINT]
Revisited and it turns out to be a LL solve! So here's what I think is the move that I missed last time:#12: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jun 12, 2024 [HINT]
- whether the blacks in C16R13-14 are part of the 5 clue or part of the blot, C16R15-16 are also black.
David: If you're confident it's line logic, please feel free to change the puzzle's Solvability!#13: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 12, 2024
Ah sorry, I intended to but guess I forgot :)#14: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 12, 2024
So I just tried but the it was already set to DEFINITELY LLS from where I flipped it before. Not sure why it's not taking it. I'll try to flip it away and back again...#15: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 12, 2024
...nope. It's not triggering the change in status#16: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 12, 2024
It is set to Definitely when I bring it up. (And I agree it is LLS after another runthrough of it)#17: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jun 12, 2024
David - Comment #10 says that you set the solvability to line logic. So I'm not sure why in #12 I thought you hadn't set it, since clearly you did!#18: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 13, 2024
Ah, mystery solved :)#19: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Jun 13, 2024
The only mystery left is what it is!#20: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 14, 2024 [SPOILER]
