I love that you commented that your own puzzle is awesome! Or maybe there are two people using the same account? One named Holden? LOL!

This puzzle is one of the ones that I used as a sample puzzle in my Survey of Paint-by-Number Puzzle Solvers as an example of a really hard puzzle with multiple solutions. It stumps nearly all automated solver programs. My solver can do it in about 7 minutes, another can do it in 80 minutes, and the rest are, so far, completely unable to do it.

I wonder if marto would be willing to give permission to allow this puzzle to be freely redistributed as part of a standard test set for developers of new solving programs.

The attribution and copyright would be retained.

I did a solvable version, in #34562 "Fixing #2712"

Thanks, Kristen, I might go try it. I've just been solving in order so my puzzle numbers aren't that high yet. I've been known to skip ahead, however, for puzzles that catch my interest.

I've been filling in the gaps as well. I'm just a few dozen ahead of you. :)
