Now a bit about the picture: I tried for nearly 3 days to make it solvable using red with a black surrounding. It proved to be too difficult (for me).
When I filled everything in black, it worked immediately.
I collected the picture (sized 48x36) 6 month ago and I can't remember from where it comes.

Special thanks to Amazon.com for providing the title idea and the quotation!

I know it has been translated into German and French, and certainly other languages as well. However, I've never seen French and English side by side so I can't say which kind of translation is done. It certainly rimes well!

Do you have number for 1st puzzle? Do you keep a picture of the solved puzzles, or just remember them?

Not that I mind duplication of subject matter in the least. When there were only a few puzzles on the site, it seemed natural to try to come up with something different each time, but as the numbers creep up, duplication naturally becomes more frequent. Anyway, these two puzzles could hardly be more different.

It was tough early on, trying to join the upper and lower halves, but once they joined, it was a snap. I like this puzzle a lot.

Slow starter with a quick finish and a rewarding image. Very nice puzzle.

(I don't believe I was talking about myself in that first sentence.)
