Very well done puzzle. Not only is it a wonderful image, but it is a poser all the way to the end. Completely solvable by logic, but challenging nonetheless. Thank you.#2: derby (Derby) on Mar 30, 2022 classify
Agree with first comment. This is an excellent puzzle.#3: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Apr 3, 2022 classify

R19: There are two places for the 4 to go. If it is placed in C21-24, it causes a contradiction in R20, so it must go in C12-15 instead.
LL solves the rest.

(I flagged this as Moderate Lookahead based on Wombatilim's comment. I haven't tried solving it myself.)#9: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on May 11, 2023 [HINT] classify
The color logic here is tricky and interesting! But it is possible to fill in all the green with color logic.#10: Courtenay Footman (Courtenay) on Dec 2, 2024 [SPOILER] classify
I got to 95% with the area bounded by C13/23 and R12/24 mostly unfilled in.
Then, as Wombatilim mentioned, finding the 4 in R19 works quickly.
Also you can show that if the 4 in R15 is not in C21-24, the 3 in row 16 has nowhere to go. But this takes a bit longer.
But just to verify things...
...oh, and also to mention that the book of the same title, which is in some ways just about grammar, is very funny indeed!
Either the picture or the title is wrong. The picture is describing "Eats shoots and leaves", not "Eats, shoots, and leaves". If the title is the latter the panda should be holding a gun and walking away! (As he is on the cover of Lynne Truss's the book.)
