The color logic on this is tricky to get going, but the black is solvable on its own, and from there the blue can be solved as well. Might be easier to use edge logic, but it isn't strictly necessary.

Thanks Wombat! I tried re-solving this, and it is indeed solvable with line and color logic, no lookahead needed.

To solve it, I colored squares green anytime they could not be black. (To color a square green, hover your mouse over it and press the number 4 key. You can use either the 4 that shares a key with the dollar sign, or turn on NumLock and then use the 4 on your keyboard's number pad.)

The only place in row 21 that can be black is column 11, so I colored that square black, and then made the rest of row 21 green, to indicate that none of those squares could be black, since row 21's one black square was already placed. The error indicators in the rows and columns lit up with red dots everywhere, but I ignored that and continued solving.

Next I could place the black 5 in column 11, so I did that. Then I could color most of the squares green in rows 17-20, to indicate where they could not be black.

From there I moved forward, marking squares black when they could only be black, green when they could not be black, and also marking dots and a couple of blue squares, when I was sure of them.

It took some time, but that solved all of the black squares. Then I changed all of the green squares to white (by hovering my mouse over each of them and pressing the space bar), and solved normally, to finish the puzzle.

That was a process, but it worked!
