#1: Wombat (wombatilim) on Dec 9, 2022 [HINT]

The red and some of the black can be completed with some insanely tricky line & color logic.

EL bottom row gets the 7 started, then LL completes everything R36 & below.

Having a hard time seeing what my next move might be without guessing, though.
#2: Wombat (wombatilim) on Apr 8, 2023 [HINT]
Picking up where I left off:

R10: If the blacks in C21-22 are part of the 3, R8-10 C20 are black, and R8-9 C21 are white. This would make R13C20 black, which makes C20 invalid. Therefore R10 C21-22 are the 2. LL.

R12: Whether the 4 goes into C30-33 or C36-39, R13 C36-39 are white.

R8: If the blacks in 22-23 are part of the 3, R9 will be made invalid. These must be a 2 instead. LL.

C34: If the 5 goes into R13, R12 and R18 in C36 would both be black, marking everything below them in C36 white. This makes C34 invalid, so R18C34 must be black instead. LL.

C34: If the black in R27 is part of the 2, R24 is made invalid. Therefore R27C34 is the 1 in C34. LL.

R26: If the 6 goes into C33, R23C36 is black, starting the 3 in C36. This would make R24 C35-36 part of the 5 in R24, which would make C33 invalid. Therefore the 6 in R26 must go to C39 instead. LL. Keep a lookout for a tricky white at R33C36.

C29: Whether the 3 goes to R30 or R32, R30C28 is black. LL.
C29: Whether the 3 goes to R29 or R32, R29C28 is black. LL.

C24: Whether the first black 1 goes into R7 or R9, R13C20 is black. LL.

C19: If the black at R14 is a 1, R12C20 and R13C21 are both black. This makes R9 invalid in 2 moves, so R14C19 must be part of the 6. LL.

C19: If the 6 goes into R9, R15 is invalid. R15C19 must be black instead. LL.

R5: Whether the first black 1 goes to C13 or C18, R6C13 is black. LL.

R13: IEL marks C1-5 white. LL.

C5: IEL marks R6-10 white.
C6: IEL marks R10 white.

C6: If the 9 crosses both R21 and R26, C7 is invalid. This places it either within R13-25 or in R22-30. Placing it in R22-30 would complete C7. R28-30 C4 would need to be black, but R27C4 could not be. This makes C4 invalid, so R26-R30 C6 must be white. LL.

C11: Whether the 3 goes to R30 or R32, R30C12 is black. LL.
C11: Whether the 3 goes to R29 or R32, R29C12 is black.

LL to finish.
